The colon is part of the large intestine. It lies among the smaller intestine as well as anus. A wholesome colon is about two inches in diameter, among five and 6 feet extended, and occupies most of the lower entire body cavity. The "U" shaped colon subdivides into four sections – the ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, and sigmo
